This is the place to be. There are loads of knowledgeable managers around,
always ready to answer your questions. But before you answer a question we've
had before, why not check out the F.A.Q.
and if it's not there, do a search on the boards to make sure there isn't a thread already.
I know it has been spoken about before but is anything happening re the changing of loan circumstances. Personally I think loans for players over 82 should be banned and any loan from a club should not boost a players moral as this is keeping players at clubs that they don't get used at,what are others opinions?
Real Madrid 50
if loans didn't work/help the "hoarding" club, though, they might already have been forced to let that player leave, and so he could have already been AT the club you took over, thereby being even more help to you as he would actually be "yours" to keep, sell or swap.
like in g99 - all the players not getting games in the reserves, or plying their trade in feeder clubs... if they were at unmanaged clubs other managers might be more interested in taking on a side.
I couldnt care less if it benefits them as it helped me out greatly aswell, as for the hoarding the way i see it is they acquired the player fair and square so they can do what they want with him.
Game 99 is packed with managers in all divisons and taking on a lesser squad is the sacrifice you need to do to join the best game, if i was expecting to join a game with a full squad i wouldve joined a game like game 1 or 3 that has only 1 or 2 managers in it..
g99 has 15 in the top 2 english divs and 16 in the top 2 euro divs, so it's hardly packed in all divisions. but IS consistently one of the top 2 managed leagues.
and i'm just saying those numbers could be higher if some of those players who weren't getting games at "hoarders" were at other clubs. TWO full divs in each half where you could be relgated from the 2nd would make 99 the most populated by some way. as it is, it's on a par with 64.
yes, those managers got those players by fair or foul. i guess it depends if they would rather keep the players or maybe have more managers join. g8 developed so there were a couple of clubs with a LOT of the players, and look what's happened to that now - just 3 managed sides, i think.
and like i said, re the loans helping you - if those players had been AT your club it would have you helped more.
looks like g3 has 15 total managers, g5 13, and g1 15 managers, so hardly 1 or 2, although not as populated as 64 or 99
and "best game" is still debatable. i still think it's harder to maintain a focused presence in 64 with it's 2 turns a week, rather than 1 turn every 10 days.
I don't agree with the no loans or the restricted limit of overalls moving. I know it's a fantasy game but if we are trying to make it as real as possible then surely this shouldn't happen? I agree with the fact it shouldn't make players happy at the parent club, as they are simply moving because they are unhappy.
if there must be loans, go with the "no increase in morale" approach.
although i would suspect there would be fewer loans of quality players.
better still, have the player's morale increase at the loaned TO club, but vanish when he returns to his main club, and he goes REQ, because he's tasted first team football and wants more, and now better believes that he won't get it where he is, and wants the move to keep getting games. that's also realistic.
if you were "just pointing out" you could have simply said something like, "there are three, mate, but it includes juventus, who aren't showing as managed yet, although a thread was created."
but there was attitude cos you mocked my research, which was disappointing after i had spent AGES trawling through leagues and teams trying to find an interesting one, AND you stuck your tongue out. that might not be "attitude" in your book, but it is in mine.

Personally I think loans should be allowed....
As they do help managers out.Maybe a cap to OV at 82 should be implemented but to ban them altogether is stupid...
When you take on a new team you get 12mill to spend and in any of the big games you will generally have no players worth swapping to build your side so loans are needed to compete as you also have players that are undertrained both in ov and positional and with next to no staff to start with.It takes weeks to get your team right.which can be helped with loans.
As for the other side of it helping his parent club i think if he is over 82 his moral should drop from being loaned out and below 82 depending on age should stay the same.As young players do get loaned out to gain experience.
Maybe instead about complaining about loans that keeps players happy at hoarding clubs we should focus on getting this REQ rule implemented properly so players do get listed instead of just staying on a REQ list
