Here are some rules:
Only one team per manager.
There's a draw on Saturday morning where a random 84-87 player and a random 82-83 player will also be allocated to your team.
If you want to sell a player then create a thread on here with all his relevant details. Put a reserve on him if you don't want to sell him for less than a certain amount and put the date and time that bidding will close (give people a few days to bid, no shorter than 3 days). When bidding ends, you must put down the sale and the buying team must put down the purchase.
Once a player has received bids over the reserve he cannot be unlisted. If you list a player and change your mind, then you can delete that post if, and only if, there have been no bids made. If someone has made a bid then you cannot remove him. So please don't.
Over this weekend as the meet is happening, we will allow shorter bid periods - if you want to list a player today and have the deadline as 10am on Saturday that's fine for example.
There are no limits on how much you can bid.
You can bid for any player rated 79 or below from an unmanaged side.
You can scout players in (though they'll need to be added to the database first as the game one is currently up to date).
Usual rules apply regarding debt - if you are overdrawn for more than 3 turns a random player from your first eleven will be placed on the auction for everyone else to bid on. As sales take a bit longer and cannot be guaranteed this is worth you thinking about - it's not recommended to spend more than you have or you may end up losing players.
The challenge clearly here is that you cannot just contact another manager and ask to buy one of their players. The power rests a lot more in the players - unhappy players will need to be moved on or lost when their contracts expire.
