I’m going to register my entry this evening, Im also going to create a mine league, anybody interested in joining the mini league and have a competition between us all?
Perhaps Neil you could make this a newsletter issue, if I tell you mini league name and password can get loads of us joining, perhaps prize on offer by yourself?
A mini league can have up to 10000 people, can make it a necom comp, perhaps call the league NECOM
It does not cost anything to enter a mini league; once you have entered your team as normal I can tell you the league name and password. You just go to website and click on join mini league, enter password and league name and enter your subscription number and you are added to that league.
Entry to the dream team cost £5 of 75p per min on telephone, you have to be over 16 so some of you may want to register in parents names.
Anybody interested ?

What is a Mini League?
A Mini League is a private league you can set up for FREE after you have registered your team(s) and invite your friends, family or work colleagues to join.

How do I set up a Mini League?
After you have registered a team, log in with your 12-digit PIN Number. On the "My Team" page click on the Create Mini League link. You will then be taken through the simple process of setting up your own Mini League. You will be asked to input a name for your Mini League and a password, which will be accepted as long as it's clean and hasn't already been taken. Your team will immediately be entered into your Mini League and you will have the opportunity to invite others to join your league.

How do I invite others to join my Mini League?
During the creation of a Mini League we will email, on your behalf, your friends or colleagues to invite them to register a team or teams and then join your Mini League. They will be sent your league name and password. Of course, you can also give your league name and password to your friends as well. Or, if you like, you can register teams on their behalf and then enter them into your Mini League.

How do I join a Mini League that has already been set-up?
It's easy. First register a team or teams. Then log in with your 12-digit PIN Number. On the "My Team" page click on the Join Mini League link. You will then be prompted to enter the league name and password to the Mini League you want to join. We'll let you know that your team has joined the Mini League or if there is no more room in that Mini League (maximum 10,000 teams in any one Mini League).

When is the last chance to set up or join a Mini League?

How many Mini Leagues can my team be in?
Your team can be entered in ONE Mini League only. And once you have put your team into a Mini League you cannot switch it to another Mini League (the best thing to do in this case is to register another team and join the Mini League with that one).

What prizes are there for Mini Leagues?
We’ve topped up the Mini League prize pot this season so now there are monthly as well as end-of-season Mini League awards.
At the end of the season, the manager who set up the best performing Mini League will walk away with a tasty £4,000 to share as he or she sees fit. The prize is awarded to the Mini League with the highest average points total of its top five teams (total points of these five teams divided by number of teams; minimum five teams). The runner-up in the final Mini League table will receive £2,000, the third-placed Mini League creator will get £100, the fourth-placed Mini League creator £750 and the fifth placed £500.
And new for 2004-05, each month we will also give out £1,000 to the manager who set up the best performing Mini League during that particular month. Again this prize is based on the top-five team average score of each Mini League and a Mini League must have five teams in it to qualify. There will be nine such monthly Mini League prizes awarded from the end of August through to the end of April.
For all Mini League awards, if two or more teams share a place, the relevant prize money will be divided equally between the creators of the tied Mini Leagues.
Of course, the website allows you to track the performance of all the teams within your Mini League, making it the ideal way to run your office, pub or club fantasy football game. What prizes you award for the top (or bottom) team in your Mini League is up to you.

When does the scoring start for Mini Leagues?
Scoring starts from the first day of the season, August 14 2004. So, the earlier you get teams signed up to your Mini League, the better!

How do I see how many teams are in my Mini League?
Log in with your team PIN and then click on the My Mini League link on the left-hand navigation. This will bring up the table showing the teams in your Mini League.

What happens if I lose my Mini League password?
You only need your Mini League password once - to enter your team into a particular Mini League. Once your team is entered, you do not need your Mini League password again. If you were emailed or told a Mini League password but have mislaid it, please ask the person who created the Mini League to tell you again. They can find the password listed on the My Team page once they log in.
